I don't know about you, but it makes me want them all of a sudden.

Should go well with the revamped MW "Dr. Who" logo.

Horrible. Their old logo wasn't great though either.

LOL, and I thought our triangle debacle was bad. That's the worst logo I've ever seen. Like others have said, when you need a half dozen explanations of what is what, you're doing it wrong.

I don't mind the logo... but I hate the font and that shade of red.

If they would have just said it's Sam Elliot, I'd be like dang that's cool.

All I'm saying is ECU better never change their logo. It is the best one in College.

They wouldn't be able to afford it.

Thanks! We're hearing that it's the only reason our AD still has a job.

I think it looks sharp, I don't know why people are hating on it.

Beat me to it. I like it. I was beginning to think I was the only one. It certainly beats the old logo.

The red star is the only thing I am not feeling.

Clearly a G4 attempt.

I agree. I understood what it was immediately.

RE: OT: New UNLV logo - mascotswinchampionships - 06-30-2017 06:38 PM

That logo is a disaster. I had no clue where the face was.

RE: OT: New UNLV logo - SMUleopold - 07-01-2017 07:35 AM

I like it.

For some reason people only speak up when they hate something. (Twitter, Yelp, etc.)

RE: OT: New UNLV logo - Knight_of_Parrish - 07-01-2017 12:09 PM

I think it is fine if you remove the random star

Because if you see it, and you don't know what the old UNLV logo looked like, it's a random assortment of swirls and wave shapes. It's too heavily reliant on gestalt psychology--how the brain imposes a pattern on what it sees and uses that pattern to fill in the gaps. There's not enough cues there as to what the pattern is supposed to be.

IT's sort of like one of those "do you see a candlestick, or do you see two people kissing?" pictures, except it's "do you see a cowboy, or do you see an incoherent mess?"
