Nice looking crowd. It's UIC, not UCI (who has some pretty good baseball teams too but none lately). And USM is the home team. Bases loaded already for USM in bottom of the 1st,.

McCarty up in the zone, which honestly he gets away with A LOT.
Not so much today. UIC hitting him hard. 1-0 UIC after a leadoff triple off the top of the wall in center.
And unfortunately, this pitcher for UIC is the kind of pitcher you know we will have some problems with.

Exactly.....can't remember which Rice fan asked what TTT stood for when used by USM fans on message boards. This game sums it up. We are on the national stage and then completely wet our pants while the entire espn3 universe watches while we play in front of a home record crowd.

One of my bartenders, huge 'eer fan, said WVU beat Maryland. I said "What's the USM score?" Of course he didn't know as he had a WVU app or some ****. I told him you guys were hosting a regional and that Miss St had to play there. He said "So what?" I said "So, that's like Marshall hosting a regional and you guys have to play here to advance in the tourney." He said "God, that would suck!" I just chuckled.
They really have no idea how often they get the advantage in almost every facet of college sports and take it for granted.
