You beat me to it! Nice to get some props.

The writer ranks the Tigers number two behind OK. All indicators point to a very potent offense next year.

Offense sells tickets. Defense wins Conf. Championships

Hanging with the big boys now.

Memphis Football...baby!! Offense comes in @ #2 out of 25 teams. Are you ready for some Tiger football???

Man! I love it when we are ranked well above Auburn, Alabama and Ohio State. And UTAY and Auld Mess were not even in the top 25.

As RC used to say "This is a great time to be a Memphis Tiger".

As the writer points out our offensive success will hinge on our line improving.

It was better at the end of Last year and needs to be even better at the start of this year.

RE: Top offenses in the country - EarthBoundMisfit - 05-19-2017 02:21 PM

with a buildup like that....we better not stink up the joint.

RE: Top offenses in the country - TiminMem23 - 05-19-2017 02:23 PM

The offense will do what they do. It's the D that concerns me.

Regardless, I'm going to steal a line from this board's favorite former AD...

Is it a great time to be a Tiger or what?!

Now... if we could just BEAT those teams. See Birmingham bowl.

TBH we should have been ranked #1, OU lost 95% of their RB productivity and like 75% of their WR productivity when Perine, Mixon, and Westbrook left, starting RB is still up in the air and not sure who will step in to take over as top WR. That ranking just shows how good Baker Mayfield really is. Btw OU is my other favorite team so i see them just add much as the Tigers.

Try to imagine what kind of year would be possible if we had P5 level depth on both lines.

Lines are the only thing which can potentially hold this team back. If they come together early this could be magical.

Not sold that dorceus will be our best running back.
Henderson, for my money.
