I do not understand why Kalif Phillips hasn't been picked up.

Never got the respect he deserved in CUSA. Thought he was the best back in the league - for a team that rarely featured any other offense, he produced, consistently.

I mean he was 10th in the league in rushing yards and only had 4 touchdowns this year.

Imagine if he had an offensive line.
Charlotte had a healthy offensive line (in 2016, never really had a good one before that)from Temple to the first half of Rice. I'm not going to look it up, but I bet his stats we're pretty good in those 5.5 games. Khalif will end up somewhere.

I still expect 2016 CUSA MVP Ryan Higgins of LA Tech to sign a FA deal soon. CBSsports.com ranks him as the 21st best QB available in 2017 draft, but only 10 QB's were drafted.

Ryan Higgins' story is almost identical to this year's overall NFL #2 draft pick by the Chicago Bears, Mitchell Trubisky (6'2, 222) of North Carolina. Trubisky only started 13 games in college, serving as a back-up the previous 2 years. Higgins rode the bench in 2014 & 2015 before finally starting 13 games and having a breakout season in 2016.

Max Halpin, C, WKU... Tampa Bay
I'm assuming some of these guys will somehow get a look. Wales and Norris should get an order nite as well.

Yes really surprised Wales and Norris have not signed yet with anyone, they both deserve a shot!

He could have been but he was always hurt. Hard to showcase talent when you're on the sideline.

Either way he was picked up by the Packers.
