We WERE supposed to host Idaho that day so I don't know what happens to that contracted game. Idaho may have very well bought us out.
Also 2019 Nebraska seems to be off the schedule.
I wonder if there is any chance we got FSU for a SF or WF return game in 2019.

Have to figure it will take at least 2 years for new coach to get us somewhat back on track, so the chances of having a winning team wont start until Carey is gone + 2 years which probably puts us more in the 2021 to 2022 timeframe to get football respect back.

I think SF is for Soldier Field, STF would be Sean Frazier.

You are making it very personal. You are saying one man and one man alone is to blame for the mess we are in (which isn't true). And then you provide absolutely zero feedback or ideas that you feel would be better. All you ever do is agree or disagree with things and talk trash about our AD. It's embarrassing. All he has said all along is he wants to advance NIU and its footprint, do you take him to be a liar? And what evidence do you have to say he is one? He's doing what he can with the hand he was dealt, so i have no idea why you put it on him and not on our conference, our fans, our alumni, our student and so on and so forth. Just one guy. Soldier Field or Wrigley Field....I am assuming there is no way in heck that FSU would travel to Chicago in November to make a game at the Cell so that is why I pointed to those two stadiums.
I took a look at FSU's 2019 schedule and they already have 2 "away" games so it doesn't look likely.
Realistically this is just a money game.

What frustrates me so much is that no one is taking responsibility for the problem. It might be true that the problem started at the top of the conference, but make no mistake that problem has been allowed to happen because of spineless individual institutions. Huskietap22 nailed it with that analysis. The ADs and individual institutions have to take ownership of the problem instead of accepting the fate as sealed. What has frustrated me with Frazier is the double speak, just makes me frustrated to no end. Last year he blamed the fans for the state of the program and this year he says things in his press release like "season ticket sales are the lifeblood of the program". If fans were the lifeblood, they wouldn't have been fed exclusively junk food for the past 5 to 10 years. Leadership is standing up for what is right when its not easy to do so. If not our AD, or NIU, we need someone in this conference to take a stand and provide leadership, or I kid you not, this conference is completely done for good in 3 to 5 years. Seems to me that those who make decisions are just cashing out and are completely ignoring the future of the individual athletic programs. My hat goes off to the Mountain West for "owning" the problem. We need that type of leadership at MAC schools.

Highly doubt there is a return game and can only hope the guarantee money is worthy of the loss.

I'm waiting for more info on this because scheduling all those teams is nuts. There's got to be some chance of a win somewhere in the OOC schedule. We can't expect to go 6-2 in conference every season just to be bowl eligible. Only 5 home games again. I'm guessing there's more shake up if this is true.
