They going to have students zip line from one side to the other?

RE: University plans iconic bridge - VinnieVegas - 03-15-2017 12:29 PM

Maybe we can get Calipari to come back now ?

Well it will stop students from having to race across the train tracks when they see a train coming.

RE: University plans iconic bridge - tigergreen - 03-15-2017 01:00 PM

I guess the "land bridge" design went away entirely with the loss of the new rec center, then?

RE: University plans iconic bridge - Unbreakable04 - 03-15-2017 01:08 PM

(That is a land bridge)

they can't do that now - there is a metal fence up where they can only cross at specific places. If you haven't seen campus in a while, go over on a nice saturday and walk around. It looks fantastic.

What? I thought the railroad track is why he left? Sorry I get all these message board myths confused.

RE: University plans iconic bridge - btiger - 03-15-2017 01:10 PM

that's why we're not getting an indoor practice facility

How dare the university put student safety over football. Maybe this is why we won't ever be in a P5 conference.

In other words "this is why we can't have nice things."

Maybe you should come off that checkbook b. Tighter than the bark on a tree..

It's been a few years, every since I graduated back in 2013.

So, Rudd and Bowen both are blowing smoke about it being moved into the next budget year and be approved by the new UofM board instead of the previous board of regents?

If true and based on where the sports are today, looks like the IPF facility should have been prioritized over the new basketball facility.

Maybe a certain booster earmarked his own money for the basketball facility ?

The miserables are out in force today. The land bridge has nothing to do with the IPF. Please stop spreading FUD. IPF is paid for by donations. The land bridge is getting builtwith student fees.

Your arguments don't make sense. Rudd can't just shift money around all crazy.

RE: University plans iconic bridge - AlonsoWDC - 03-15-2017 03:07 PM

Bunch of limp d*ck miserables.

The University would be better off without you.

Maybe so, but it's nothing like the design before - there was a "bridge" with grass & pavers that sloped down into an ampitheatre in alumni mall previously.

The IPF meeting is Friday.[1] It appears they will live stream it.
