This has been a long time in coming, and will be a very positive and needed component of helping our university become what it should be. It is perhaps the most important happening in our beloved university's life, other than having FedEx as a great friend.
I ask that each and everyone of you join the Alumni Association, this is also a very crucial piece of helping Memphis become recognized as an important academic institution nationally. You do not have to be an alumni to join.
