There would be a lot more excitement among the fans now if Tubby had a highly ranked recruiting class coming in to play alongside Dedric next season.
It's highly likely neither of those things will occur. Maybe he'll find a player at his next open tryout on campus.......

There's just zero reason to be excited about Tiger hoops right now. Three years in a row with no postseason, not even the NIT. Dedric likely not coming back next year. No highly rated recruiting class to be excited about. Next year will still be a struggle to even make the NIT. They made the wrong hire. Tubby will definitely leave the next coach coming in a better roster than Paz left him. Maybe whoever it is will be able to grab some big time recruits and put a nice team together in his 2nd year......

Technical fouls result in free throws and possession of the ball - all of which could result in points for the opponent. It does not seem smart to me to gift points to the opponent. A coach that has to resort to a technical to motivate his team or influence a ref should consider changing his tactic.

You can't count on Tubby's freshmen. He doesn't get the ones that can step in and play immediately.
