Always an angle to get fired up for the games. First place at stake......again! Really could use a pick me up game right now. News out of Dekalb has been rough lately and my Cards lost their best best prospect Reyes for the year before lunch the first day of Spring Training.

Absolutely have to allow German not to have this playing time affected by missed defensive assignments. Those are the growing pains that NIU has to be willing to go through. They need to realize "Hey we didn't just give the Orris/Thomas spot 10 points to the other team" in the first 4 minutes.

Not so sure Highsmith is lazy. He seems to have high quality makeup. Great attitude. He seems a little physically limited, no Spring in the step.
