Pretty standard stuff but I did like the fact he said he is confident ESPN wants our football championship game to be played either on a Friday or Saturday night.

Shouldn't be that difficult do get a good station, day, and time for the SBCCG. There's not that many championship games.

Since ESPN has the right of first refusal they'll likely provide the minimum just to keep it from going to a different network.

I must've missed it somewhere but to my knowledge this is my first time to hear confirmation that football will also be spliting into two 5 team divisions in 2018

The Sun Belt hasn't officially announced football divisions for 2018 yet, but only one plan makes any sense.
