They will keep updating their lists. It's interesting to see the one they put out of fall enrollees which is the most accurate for that season, but least publicized. The big PR push (national) comes on NSD. For production, the fall enrollee list seems most accurate. Though with all the blue and gray shirts, it's kind of wonky to figure out who goes where.

Yep; he's never going to enroll at UCF in the fall either.
If he could've qualified he'd be a Clemson signee or at the very least a Maryland signee.
Unless a kid is just crazy he wouldn't decommit from the National Champion unless Clemson knows he won't qualify.

Right on the money. NSD is fun because it's a dead time for football. But the % of signees who don't make it to campus in the Fall is getting bigger every year. Plus the grad transfers, gray shirts, late jucos, even preferred WO's all make pretty significant impact that's never really compiled.

To be more accurate they ultimately would need to recalculate the rankings when it is determined who shows up for fall camp. We have guys counting in this class that may have to enroll in January or go JUCO. Clearly we are not the only ones in that boat. Who makes it to the field is what really counts. By the way, we are promoting Blake and Fairman in this class and both were three stars. However, I don't believe 247 has them in their rankings...so maybe we are still number 1!!

Hey, it's all good. Bottom line we got some players and filled some holes. And we have more who aren't even showing in the rankings, and rumors of a couple of transfers coming. Porter actually had some good recruits - but this is the best class I can recall.

Yep - I just found the whole thing crazy.
First, that Memphis is even rated highly in football recruiting - who would have realistically believed that just a few years ago?
Second, that a local kid flipping from PG to G5 is the reason for the move down a notch (even if the kid isn't eligible).
Crazy confluence of Memphis all around.
