What do you think Coach Bower is telling his fellow CFB playoff committee members... - TTT - 12-04-2016 12:05 AM

...on this night in regards to who gets in the final 4? Bama-lock, Clemson-lock, Washington-lock, OSU or B10 Champ (and head to head winner over OSU) PSU??

CFB committee members have stated since '14 that if resumes are comparable then you've gotta look at head to head and conference championship: PSU should be in over OSU. OSU didn't even win their division more less their conference. Jmo.

If it was up to me then it would be Alabama, PSU, Michigan, and OSU in the final four. I think Clemson and Washington are over rated this year and are not as good as Michigan and PSU. B10 is by far the best conference this year.

It's just golly-gee-whiz wonderful how they solved the 100-year-old unspeakable horror of subjectively voting on a champion in January by instead subjectively voting on semi-finalists in December now.

Yes sir-eee, this is SOOOO much better and SOOOO much less controversial.03-woohoo

Ohio State got in over TCU 2 years ago cause TCU didn't win their conference. Ohio State was mad last year because they thought they were better than their conference champion. I guess you piss and moan enough you get your way. I hope the Fighting Dabos take them out first game. The thought is Ohio State beats Clemson, and Bama beats Washington and the title game brings in big bucks.

As bad as it seems unfair, I think they got it right. Ohio State is one of the best 4 teams. They have 1 loss to penn state in bad weather I believe. Penn state lost 2 games. Oklahoma lost 2 games, 1 to Ohio state. Think they got it right.

I'm still laughing at how the year before the Big 12 starts playing a title game to help its champion make the playoff, a team gets in that didn't even play in the title game its conference already has.

Every game counts, except when it doesn't.

Big Ten was the best conference in football this year and its champion didn't get a bid. And they beat a team that did.

But since the committee has let us know that the actual games do not matter, can they no just go ahead and crown Bama? I mean, since the games do not count, Bama is #1. 03-puke

Make up the rules as they go to get in the teams they want. Sounds similar to the NCAA selection committee for basketball.
