Louisville's demise... - EvilVodka - 11-28-2016 03:53 PM

...is FSU's gain!!

The Latest Bowl Projections show FSU in the Orange Bowl

All in all, it's been a decent year for Florida State...FSU has beaten Miami and Florida 4 years straight, and Dalvin Cook surpassed Warrick Dunn as the all-time Nole Leading Rusher

It would be great to cap off the season with a win over Michigan

It would be great to cap off the season by beating Harbaugh until he pees in his dockers.

FIFY.

Crappy to lose out to a bowl game to a team you beat by 43 points while also having a much better conference record

Learn that the season doesn't stop in October and don't crap the bed down the stretch against inferior opponents in grand style. It's like Dabo always says....it's November that they remember.

I love U of L but they don't deserve the orange bowl after the past two weeks. Honestly y'all might end up in the fourth bowl spot after VT. I can imagine a lot of U of L fans aren't interested in the bowl since it's a huge letdown of a season (similar to when Clemson played UK in the Music City Bowl).

Disagree. VT will not get a better bowl than us. Bowl reps want Lamar Jackson. Looks like it will be the Citrus Bowl

His stock took a huge hit after his past two outings. If I were a bowl rep I would think long and hard about the two. One is struggling mightily the other is playing for a conference championship. Vt also has the bigger more established fan base.

I agree. You can't give up nearly 600 yards and lose to Kentucky Your last game and expect anyone to put You in the Orange bowl. Nobody's fault but Our's. Hope lessons learned and We play up to Our potential in Our bowl game and plan good things for next year.04-cheers

ACC Bowls must be salivating to know that the top picks this year are:
- Clemson
- Florida State
- Louisville
- Virginia Tech
...all teams known to travel well.

IMO, the Orange, Citrus and Russell Athletic bowls can't lose this year.

If I were a bowl rep I would think 9-4 VT, 17-31 against Syracuse, 20-30 against GT & say no thanks. LJ Heisman chances did take a hit, instead of getting 96% of 1st place votes he'll probably only get 80%. The problem is, who is even second? I would think of how Louisville takes 30k to bowl games.

VT will have to take Clemson to the wire to have a chance at the Citrus, in my opinion. Let's see were each teams are ranked by the CFPC tonight. Both are good teams. If VT can pull off the upset you'll be headed to the OB for sure.

I'm just now calming down from the lack of team execution in losing to Kentucky. Inexcusable this year.

Despite their beatdown at PJCS, I fully expect FSU to have the higher CFP rating and a trip to the Orange Bowl. UofL can't complain with their two late losses.

Then I see Louisville in the Citrus and the Hokies in the Russell Athletic.

RE: Louisville's demise... - Dasville - 11-29-2016 03:12 PM

Isn't the Citrus obligated to take the highest ranked ACC team in the CFP pole? Aren't they also obligated to take the highest ranked SEC team after the CFP and Sugar Bowl?

A place in the Florida Shitrus Bowl would be perfect capper to a crappy season.

Let's see how the CFPC rankings go tonight before we give up on the OB. Cards still have a case.

Lack of leadership from the Coaches and Seniors...more into the hype..very immature and undisciplined team...most disappointing 9-3 Record...Ever!!!!
