3 point shooting has been ugly. But here's something to be proud of.... - Seahawk Nation 08 - 11-28-2016 10:02 AM

We've only turned the ball over at a 12.7/game clip. Our assist/turnover ratio is 1.1, which is low, but it only stands to improve as our ball movement gets better and we start knocking down our shots (as we have the talent to do).

Meanwhile, we've forced opponents to commit 18.2 turnovers per game. And their A/TO ratio is a terrible 0.69. In our latest victory over Toledo, we had 21 assists and just 4 turnovers, while Toledo had 18 assists and 18 turnovers. THIS is Coach Keatts basketball at its best when it comes to taking the ball from opponents and protecting it on our end.

We lost ugly against MTSU and won ugly against Evansville. There's no way around that. But we've also forced our opponents to play ugly nearly every game. And we've had games where we looked great. The ETSU game especially comes to mind. Thus, our ceiling is very high, whereas when an opponent DOES manage to beat us, they're going to have to give everything they have to earn it.
