She’s insane, she’s going to try to remove fundamental rights of defendants to bench trials? Good luck with that! All defendants have the right to choose having a jury or a bench trial (trial before a judge). One reason you would want that, as the cops did, is if you feel the prospective jury pool has been adversely influenced by the media.
