Week 5 Power Rankings - slycat - 10-01-2016 11:26 PM
This is hard this year. Troy and App seem to be the only consistent teams. USA has two huge wins but two losses as well. GS is probably going to improve in conference. The rest aside from stAte will probably have a shot week in and week out at making a run.

I had you there but gave USA props for beating a ranked team on the road. USA could really be number 2 since App looked average today. WMU looks legit since CMU was playing good ball this year.
My rankings take the season into consideration but put extra weight onto the most recent game.

We beat Mississippi State on the road, but the ranked team (SDSU) was at home.

Some folks throw out the rest of the season and only look at this past week.
I prefer to use power rankings as a way to rank teams based upon the schedule they have played up to this week. Truth is neither way matters and both are just a way for fans to have fun and bicker with each other.

Changed the point value of one of your games and forgot to update. I fixed it but it may still be wrong. Just showing how I use cumulative season performance and not just the previous week.
Also, some FCS games are basically zeros and I didn't list them.
