All right, Dukes, time to get your good, bad and ugly predictions out there for the UNC game.
Add commentary, analysis, etc. Anything is fair game - except UNC's fake academic classes. We all know that was the real deal or the NCAA would have imposed the death penalty - amiright? Did they have to vacate our game a few years ago because of the same reason? Not sure.
Anyway, I think the Dukes have a real good chance of scoring a bunch of points. Not sure if our defense is ready for prime time, though.

I think JMU's offense opens up the playbook some more, we grind on the ground, and fire over the top enough to keep UNC honest. Even going up against an FBS defense, I would be surprised if we can't at the very least get into the 20's with all of the offensive weapons we have. Look for us to vary the tempo a lot to keep UNC off-guard. Dudzik will at least have some knowledge about going up against their defense, so that will help out, also. Our special teams have proven to be outstanding. If we can keep that up, it will be a huge help because even though we may not get another punt return or other points scored, it won't be a glaring weakness like it was last year. Our defense will be the big question mark. They're much improved, but are they THAT MUCH improved. Can Taylor Reynolds regain his focus? Can our line get pressure on passes to help our secondary not get eaten alive all day? Will Gage be 100% this week? I think to keep the score even we'll have to get some turnovers or some big plays, if that doesn't happen it'll be a two-to-three score game in the end. If we start turning the ball over it could be a long day. I'm very high on the Dukes under Houston right now, but I think it's too early for them to have hit their full potential.

Houston is billed as a defensive coach and he gets to show us what he can scheme going against a prolific offense. I think the Dukes can sustain some drives with doses of play action passing, but not at the rate of UNC. Also, the Tarheels have very potent special teams that could blow the game wide open.
The Dukes will need a large turnover margin to have a chance of winning.
