I remember Rotgers being #7 when we ***** slapped them. WI was #9 when we beat them and Heisman Ron Dayne?
Several teams ahead of UH lost. I expect UH to at least be Top 10.
Can history repeat? Not with ah sucks Tommy.

Wasn't Miami rated number one in 1986. EDit just checked, they were number one.

Penn State was #1 in 1985 in the coaches poll I believe. That was at Riverfront.

That was a decent game, close low scoring. We beat BC at Riverfront that year.

I still have a large swath of that awful astroturf covering the floor of our screened in porch in Michigan. Father in law ended up with a bunch of it when it was replaced.

I was planning to go to that game, but we made a run to the Cork & Bottle earlier in the day, and by the time gametime rolled around, we were no longer interested.

This is terrible but I'm not sure. Too old now! 5th floor maybe. What I do remember is our RA left after Christmas. We were sans supervision for the rest of the 86-87 school year. Sweet Lord it was party central.
