By the way, I do agree with the rest of what you said. Nobody here has any credible source - but a lot of trolls. Nothing on recruiting. Nothing on the whole Pastner situation. Nothing on the Big 12.

What does being a "half ass fan" mean? Let's say the basketball team stinks this year and wins 15 games. Am I a half ass fan if I decide not to spend my time and money watching the Tigers play Tulsa in January or February because it just wouldn't be fun for me?

I assume you are a "real fan". Do you feel a sense of responsibility to U of M football and bball? Do you think it's your duty to sit in the rain at a football game if we're playing SMU at home late in the year after a 3 game losing streak? Does that make you feel good about yourself?

You must have the "Friday Night Lights" syndrome. It's prevalent in small, poor towns. They put more importance than anyone should in the success of their local high school football team and have some misguided sense that the success of the football team somehow validates their life and their town.

My ultimate point: calling out someone else for how they choose to spend their time and money is ridiculous.

I'll go to sporting events when I think I'll have a good time. If I don't, I won't. I don't for a second factor in what type of fan I will be perceived to be.
