4 or less would be a major disappointment IMO. 5-6 should be expected with 7 or more a success I feel like.

you're seeing through my lens now...
however, I would put the UTEP and UNT games in that coin flippin' ...... those schools are in the out house of waffles and pancakes.... the miners at -9 and UNT +9.5 is the same as southern miss +6.x......
this is where the money line carries value in the early weeks if one pays attention.......

I went with seven or more, with wins from FAU, MTSU, UTSA, ODU, UNT, and UTEP, plus a win from either FIU or USM, perhaps maybe both.

I am hoping for 5.
SIU is a team that CUSA teams should not schedule. If you're going to schedule an FCS schedule a body bag game.
SIU is from one of the better FCS conferences (WKU was in there with them a little over 10 years ago). They are good enough to give FAU a game and they will be fired up wanting a win over a FBS team. Please understand that this is not a knock on FAU... I am only saying that SIU is a solid program and there is risk involved in scheduling them.

Not the start we (CUSA) needed but it's done and now on to Saturday. I think most if not all saw Charlotte losing (but not by that much) and I had the FIU-IU game as a toss-up.

I went with 5. It seems like every year there is a team that loses a game to a team that is completely unexpected. So, even if Southern Miss does beat KY, it wouldn't surprise me to see another team wet the bed.

I went with 7, and I am sticking with 7. I picked an either/or on FIU or USM to win, and, ok Golden Eagles, now it's up to you. I feel pretty good about my other six, but UNT will need to come through. Let's go Mean Green! Kick some Pony arse!
