Cleveland Cavs don't want to visit WH with Clinton or Trump - Fort Bend Owl - 07-03-2016 04:37 PM

Can't blame them either. They want their White House visit with President Obama. I do feel sorry for any national championship teams/professional teams that win titles in the next four years. Trump is a bit of a sports fan at least. I wonder if Hillary will even keep up that tradition of meeting with the various champs.

It'd be interesting to hang around various presidents throughout US history. Accompanying Arthur on his late night escapades? Doing all kinds of badass stuff with Teddy Roosevelt? Helping out Nixon with the tapes? A dream come true for any athlete.

If I were on a team that won a championship and was invited to the WH, I would politely declined. If asked about it, I would say, "I think it's probably bad form to tell the president to go f-k himself, and I really don't have anything else to say to him."
