Agreed. They do scramble well (and often). At this point in the early signing period - actually before this the third day - ODU had already announced the signings of:
2016 - Godwin & Hueitt (ODU announced on the 1st day of period).
2017 - Ezikpe, Reece, & Wade (ODU announced on the 2nd day of period. Some or all of them may well have signed on day 1).
I'm sure Jeff will come up with some players either this week or after the season. Perhaps he has gotten some commitments already but is waiting on an answer from someone before he goes public with his signings. I hope that is the case.

So we get the Oliver kid from Clemson for 19. Don't you folks figure our coaches are trying to put together all the pieces to the puzzle short and long term. I'm sure for 2018 they have/had one plan if they got Oliver and another if they didn't, needed to wait and see what was gonna shake out with him. We are really getting some highly regarded cats. For all we know, could be talking to even more possible transfers in addition to HS recruits too.

So far. If he has a strong season playing post-grad, he might get P5/Big East offers. Or at least I presume that's his thought process. Can't imagine he's leaving an ODU offer to go to JMU or App. Though maybe that's what ends up happening (though Monmouth is a respectable enough landing spot).
