After doing some searching, it appears most C-USA games will be streamed this season. The new media deal stinks and only a handful of games will actually be on television. Here is the latest for North Texas.

2016

9-3-16 vs. SMU 6pm American Sports Network
9-10-16 vs. B-Cookman 6pm C-USA Streaming (I refuse to call it "TV")
9-17-16 @ Florida 6:30pm ESPNU
9-24-16 @ Rice TBA
10-1-16 vs. MTSU 6pm Campus Insiders
10-8-16 vs Marshall 6pm American Sports Network
10-15-16 BYE
10-22-16 @ Army 11am CBS Sports
10-29-16 @ UTSA TBA
11-5-16 vs. LA Tech 4:30pm
11-12-16 @ WKU 2:30pm ESPN3
11-19-16 vs. S. Miss 4:30pm beIN Sports
11-26-16 @ UTEP TBA

RE: 2016 Football Schedule - UNT15 - 08-21-2016 01:29 PM

I agree--streaming is not TV. Any idea if TXA21 or one of the local stations might be picking up that ASN broadcast? Would love to record to.

not worth it's own thread, but:
I've been thinking about the possibilities with ASN. There are currently only 3-5 college football games per week on the big four networks. With ASN, CUSA (and specifically UNT for us) have an opportunity to be on OTA broadcasts win very little competition for true cord cutters.

I realize that most "cord cutters" pay for additional streaming (Netflix, Sling, etc), but for those who only use an antenna, there aren't a ton of college football games available. I'd really like to see us take advantage of this and play 3-4, preferably away, games on OTA channels.

I have yet to see any of our games added to TXA21, but will certainly add them to this post should they plan to broadcast some.

Update, per the SMU SID:
"Update on SMU v UNT TV - It will be shown in 78 markets, including Billings and Bangor, but not DFW."

CUSA should be releasing the official coverage stations on Monday, but it looks like non-ASN subscribers will not be able to record the game for rewatching. It might be available for replay online...

Good news. If you have Directv with the sports package, you will be able to watch the game on Comcast Bay Area channel 696. On Dish it is channel 419. The game will air live at 6pm central. If you are within driving distance, I hope you can make it out to Apogee.
