Not sure if he thought about this after he lost to MT in Nashville this past season or after MT beat Michigan State in March. Supposedly the series will wrap in B'ham in 2017-18. RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - cr11owl - 05-25-2016 04:33 PM Not finalized but Rice rumored to play Pitt, Texas Tech and SFA. I'm sure a return trip from New Mexico as well. That should be the first step to helping us get that second bid. Now we just have to win the games. and keep it going. RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - techdawg88 - 05-25-2016 08:07 PM Tech has a home game vs. Florida Gulf Coast RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - Niner National - 05-26-2016 08:08 AM (05-25-2016 07:56 PM)monarx Wrote: So far it looks like CUSA has beefed up its scheduling a little. It will help with conference SOS for sure, but we need to steal a few wins against the big names and then not **** up against equal and lesser competition. RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - ODUBB35 - 05-26-2016 08:45 AM I believe that the dates for the ODU games vs. Richmond and Towson are wrong as well. This should be the schedule so far: November 11 JMU at ODU November 23-25 ODU at Battle For Atlantis (Michigan State, Louisville, Wichita State, Baylor, LSU, St. John's, and VCewageU) November 30 Dartmouth at ODU December 3 ODU at Towson December 14 ODU at Richmond TBA VCU at ODU TBA W&M at ODU TBA Georgia State at ODU TBA ODU at Rhode Island RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - hooverblazer - 05-26-2016 08:59 AM Good start to scheduling, we just have to win some of these games. Take this for what it's worth; one is an assumption and one is an I thought I heard, but: I assume we have a home game with Washington St. since we've played them three times on a 4 game contract. And I thought I heard we were at Texas St. as well. RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - techdawg88 - 05-26-2016 11:01 AM doesn't UTEP usually play NM & NMSt every year? RE: 2016-17 MBB Non-Conf Schedules - keebler645 - 05-27-2016 03:52 PM Marshall is at Cincy and hosting Ohio and Morehead State. There might be others confirmed but I'm not sure. Outside of maybe one year, we always play NMSU home and home. It's not a bad deal since the Aggies are usually pretty good and we get a good road game out of it. Maybe one of these days, we'll actually beat them. UNM is a different story. We've tried to get the rivalry going again after the WAC split, but it's had its fits and starts. The feud between Floyd (what, Floyd feuding?) and Alford didn't exactly help things. Neal at first keep the feud going, but recently relented. I think we signed a 4 year deal, and it would be nice if it kept going after than. |
