I do not feel good about Hare playing this coming season and if that's the case there will be several tough games. Also, USF is the toughest game on the schedule by far.

San Diego State is very good. Pumphrey is a heck of a player. Knocking off the Aztecs will not be easy. I don't think I agree that USF is the toughest game on the schedule.

Yea I think SDSU will be the toughest, followed by USF.

NIU needs to prepare for San Diego State like they did for Ohio State. Not a slouch team, if they're in talks for NY bowl already.

Why do you not feel good? Hare did practice with the team this spring, and appears to be walking fine. Coach care did say he got several reps in.

Since we won't be playing any P5 schools this year, it's good that we're playing some strong G5 teams.

I feel these games(SDSU,USF) are almost a sort of a no-win situation. Unfortunately, a win over a mediocre B1G team gains more favor nationally than a win over a really good G5. And then a loss is an atomic drop down in the G5 pecking order.

If we win out playing these strong teams will give us an excellent opportunity for the NY 6 G5 spot. If we were catching a MW & AAC team on bad years and played no P5 we would have no chance even if we win out.

And its good that the MAC has probably one of the best G5's going into this season in WMU and obviously Toledo/BGSU are monster tough games. So while NIU does not have a p5 its good the conference makes up for the toughness of the sschedule.
