There was nothing in that article to suggest the ACC Network is any closer to coming to fruition than the last article that reminded us the ACC wants a network.

Swofford did the same thing, and when Wes Durham mentioned a (very specific) deadline, he came back on the radio a week later and recanted his story. So basically everytime a true "insider" gives any meaningful information, he retracts in a few days, while the official spokesmen keep giving uninformative answers, quite frankly. It's very frustrating, but it does make you wonder what they REALLY know...

The Big 12 should strike by turning the LHN into the Big 12 Network and steal Florida State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Cincinnati and Memphis to create a 16 team conference. Slide Iowa State to the east. It gives Memphis as Iowa State a travel partner.

Like I said, the powers that be in the ACC seem confident that it's going to happening and progress is being made...but the good ol' CNSBBS folks know better.

Meanwhile, I STILL love folks that say crap like "This conference could steal from that conference...." I don't understand why folks STILL haven't figured out that a conference cannot just TAKE another school. That school has to WANT TO JOIN that conference, and given the situation, who in their right mind would want to leave a power conference to join the BigXII??
