Nice article about Kent and "upgrading" basketball. He said it like it is.....Kent was a power of the MAC and now they need to catch up. It seems strange that it has taken so long to see that basketball is the sport to be recognized and money invested. It should have been started after the success of the 2001-02 Elite 8 when everyone was involved and the fan base was strong. Sounds liker President Warren is behind the process...now to find the money!!!!!!

I am so pumped that the President can see that this is the sport to invest in for long term results.
I hope she can see the need to find an AD to carry this mission out. Joel is so engrossed in football he had to mention field turf in an article highlighting hoops.
Let's cutback on the football trainers and staff. That will be a start.
