I didn't see an "open thread" so thought I'd start one.
So far,
Duke won
UVa won
Miami is winning
UNC is in a dogfight.

Miami won and UNC won in a blowout going away in the 2nd half. Solid 4-0 opening day. I'd be thrilled with 2-1 tomorrow, but won't be surprised if we're under .500 on the day.

Great showing so far. I believe our NIT teams also went undefeated yesterday. GT, VT and FSU all won last night.

All 3 did make the NIT final 16. FSU however lost by 12 @ Valpo in round 2 tonight. VT is @ BYU and GT is @ South Carolina next.

Virginia was impressive thursday in its game with Hampton for two reasons. Basketball excellence but also impressive faith and character that starts with coach Bennett and is seen also in his players. Here is a photo of Anthony Gill who prayed for his coach on national tv after Bennett collapsed during the game. No one knew the reason for his collapse at the time Gill did so. Kudos to the team and so glad to hear it was nothing more than dehydration.

Lots of 3 pt shooting teams think they can shred the zone...few actually do it.
