Talking to some old time alumni who haven't been to DeKalb in years but are going to this game! So there may be a lot more out there with the same thinking...

Yeah, I guess Frazier may not be as dumb as many people on here think. 03-banghead

Agreed. I've got a solid group going and even convinced some NIU alum fans i know work downtown to take a half day and catch the game with myself. Got a solid group going

This years Homecoming football game will be played weeks before the Toledo game.

Maybe he meant sell tickets for the Cell Game at Homecoming when they're all 04-drinky

Call me cynical but a verbal to go to the game now will more than likely shift when the reality of a bitter cold weekday night on the south side of Chicago sets in. I still think 5000 will be tough to reach

Toledo game is always in November now since Maction. And homecoming is always in Oct.

I remember a couple recent November midweek night games in DeKalb that were brutally cold. People on this board complained it was the coldest they ever felt. Don't pick on MD, because he ain't wrong.

Though with the game being played close to the lake shouldn't it be a tad warmer than it would be in DeKalb? Also the Stadium mostly blocks the wind from the west and north so unless the wind is coming from the South or East the wind shouldn't be much of a killer. The student section endzone will likely be the worst area for wind.
