AAC tournament winner Temple
Cincinnati

I think Cincinnati will make it regardless of what happens.
I think UConn is 50/50 unless they beat Cincinnati.
I think Temple is 50/50 without beating the winner of Cincinnati/UConn.
I think Tulsa gets in if they make the tournament finals.
I think Houston has to win it.

Tulsa has no chance, CBI maybe, but no shot at the tourney.

Memphis knocks off Tulsa, Houston, and UConn...Champs, Pastner walks off the Amway Center floor with 2 middle fingers up!

UConn beats Cincy and Temple...secures their NCAA spot.

Cincy, UConn, and Memphis (champ) make the NCAAs.

Temple, Houston, and Tulsa make the NIT.

The winner (Houston) and the runner up (Temple) of the AAC tourney get in NCAA. These two are dominating the league already, didn't you get the memo?

UCONN and Tulsa - NIT

Cincy - CIT or maybe that new Las Vegas Tournament.

UC and UCONN NCAA

Tulsa, UH, Temple all go in some combination to the NIT, CBI, Las Vegas blah blah whatever. Basically who cares.

Their resume is better than many realize. I think the road SMU win will carry a lot of weight, as will the nonconference win over wichita state. I think their overall resume is better than any AAC team except Cincinnati right now. 8 RPI top 100 wins, 5 wins over tournament caliber teams (6 if you count Houston).

How many "starters" are out when UC loses their first game in the AAC tourney and gets left out ?

Temple is actually guaranteed a spot in the NIT if they don't make the NCAA.

don't be bitter, be happy. You have a basketball team that finally will make a post season tourney. The NIT is a big step for you guys!

Leave the Big Dance to the big boys.

"None of these results are good for the American Conference- a lotta muck there"

Monmouth and WSU not winning thier conferences hurts the AAC bubble teams

WSU for sure but Monmouth isn't going anywhere. Their 3 200+ losses is too big of a weight to be floated to the top by a couple of top 50 wins. The MAAC will be a one bid league.

I think the AAC may be a two bid league, Cincy and the tourney winner. If Cincy wins the tourney both UCONN and Tulsa have a shot at an at-large if TU can make the finals. I'm concerned that the Memphis debacle last week may have crippled us though.
