Tiger Baseball Needs YOU - Gray Avenger - 02-26-2016 09:50 AM
Our baseball team needs and DESERVES your support! The 37 wins last season in the ever-tough AAC and against several SEC teams saw us ranked in the Top 25 for the first time in 21 years. That makes 5 consecutive seasons with at least 30 wins - first time in program history. On top of that, last season makes 11 out of the last 14 in which the team's average GPA exceeded 3.0.
Here are three ways you can do your part to support them:
(1) Try to attend some games! Tickets at FedEx Park (on south campus) are only $5 ($3 for seniors).
(2) Join the Bullpen Club
(3) Contribute online to the modest 2016 goal to raise $15,000 for facility & equipment improvement @ http://www.joinourcampaign.com (Team Code: 2336 / Password: UMTB) or call 877-524-4796 or send a check to Bullpen Club / ATTN: Daron Schoenrock / 207 Athletic Office Building / 507 Normal St/Memphis, TN 28152-3730. Nobody else had 5 consecutive 30-win seasons while surrounded by Ole Miss, State, Arkansas and Vanderbilt when they are drawing over 8,000 per game (compared to our 350). Doing your part to support will do far more good than bad-mouthing our excellent coach.

Kilpatrick was better. Those early 80s teams were the best we've ever had. Maybe nobody wanted to follow him and we ended up with 3 or 4 baseball versions of Pastner?

Kirkpatrick was 1000 times better than Shoenrock could ever think about being and played in a much tougher league its easy to get 30 wins a season playing the UT Martin's and siu Edwardsville's what ever the hell that is. How many of these 5 30 consecutive win seasons has landed him in the NCAA. 0.

By the way 30 wins in college baseball isn't that impressive considering every team in our conference except 1 did it last year

Turn out for the Arkansas game at AutozoneArkansas we'll be good for at least 5000. Arkansas has a good bunch in Houston this weekend Arkansas is up 8-1 in the 4th on Houston. MLB network has the game.
