Just watched the 2nd episode last night - I'm definitely interested in it.

Ratings are bad on this - just read an article about it last night.

I'm looking forward to westworld but it sounds like there are all kinds of production issues and egos involved and that it is a huge project.

HBO is looking for something to take the place of GoT and has major competition now in the form of Netflix and Amazon original programming.

I haven't lost interest yet, but it also hasn't been overly engrossing.

It interests me because of the time period and the real bands that it makes reference to and those that are portrayed by actors (Zepplin, Lou Reed, Jerry Lee). Growing up in a radio station, the recording industry fascinated me.

Yep, that's why I'm into it; not necessarily the storyline at this point.

I could barely watch half of the first show. It seemed contrived and hokey, possibly because I lived through all of that.

There is something about the lead actor that I can't stand. Ever since his stint in Boardwalk Empire, I haven't cared for him. Maybe that's just the kind of character that they want their "protagonist" to be, but I just want to hit him of the head with a folding chair.
