I don't claim to be an expert in basketball by any means, but I like the way this guy's teams play.

He'd be great.

He won't leave there until he feels the fit is right, or a destination type job opens, a la Shaka Smart. Basically.....it's not happening.

He is, has been and always will be my #1 wish until it's all said and done.

He would be an absolute home-run hire. Problem is he won't be cheap and everybody else would love to have the guy too.

I don't know that he's my #1 dream choice, but he's up there near the top. He has been impressive at Dayton.

RE: What about Archie Miller? - HometownTiger - 02-22-2016 12:51 PM

It would've taken $3M for Archie to take the Florida job...

RE: What about Archie Miller? - Titans3775 - 02-22-2016 12:52 PM

Him and Marshall should be our #1s. Both won't be cheap, but will definitely field competitive teams and resurrect the Forum. That is worth its price in gold.

I'm trying to think what jobs will be on the horizon in the next 2-3 years that may be of interest to him.

Louisville, maybe?

RE: What about Archie Miller? - Brother Bluto - 02-22-2016 12:54 PM

The usual suspects poo pooing his resume in 3.....2......1....

RE: What about Archie Miller? - fsquid - 02-22-2016 12:57 PM

I like him, don't think he'll look at us

Talk about a dead end job. In the same neighborhood as two of the top 5 schools in history with the same expectations.

And people think OUR fans are crazy?

I think thad will get more time to turn it around, but this'll be 3 straight down years.

Agreed, but he played there.

If Dagum Roy retires, maybe NC...but I'd imagine they try to get someone more proven (older) and they like to keep it in the family there.

Didn't realize he played there. Thought he was at Pitt like his brother

Likely (or should) have some more years. Dude had quietly had a ridiculously good run at tOSU, not to mention Xavier and Butler.

14 NCAA appearances in 15 seasons, NIT Title in the other.
2 S16's
2 E8's
1 FF
1 NC game

He has 10 guys on his roster this year that are Frosh or Sophs. Returns EVERY player next year.
