UT baseball 2016 (On Fire) - cnyrocketfan - 02-14-2016 07:30 AM
Rockets are scheduled to start the season in Vero Beach. Opener scheduled Friday, February 19th against the Buckeyes. Two games scheduled on the 20th, one against Pitt, one against Niagara. Things scheduled to wrap up on Sunday with another game against Ohio State.

If I remember right (I'm going from memory as I haven't taken the time to look at the records, so take this for what it's worth) the Rockets have never won the MAC title in baseball.

So zero MAC titles in the entire history of the program. Maybe they should just shut the baseball program down and put that money towards football. How do you not win a single league title playing in the MAC? Mind blowing to me.

Rockets and Buckeyes tied at 5 after 9 innings and I think that's where it ended. You know, those "pesky" classes.
Teams have to get back home so it looks like they decided to call it a tie.
UT led 5-4 after 8 innings but gave up the tying run in the top of the 9th.

Not meaning to sound snide, but there are other sports than basketball and football. Personally, I'll take any college baseball over the pro version anyday. For local baseball fans Rocket baseball is fun to watch. It's just ashamed more people don't take advantage of a cheap afternoon of entertainment.

To get me to go to a baseball game they would have to change the game. Like, when a batter hits the ball, the other 8 guys run the base line and block for him, while the entire pitching team tries to stop him. There would have to be more hits, too. Maybe make the ball bigger.
OK, that would be tackle softball wouldn't it? Yeah, I would probably go to that.
