Does your team have a season ticket sale goal for fb? - GaSoEagle - 02-05-2016 02:30 PM

We just came out with ours-- 8,500. Last year our goal was 7,000 and we met it.

Only negative this year is we have only 5 home games with App game the biggest one.

Add in one is going to be on a weekday and it makes it worse. I think that is a little ambitious but like the goal. I wish we would almost drop one pay game and go to alternating two G5 home and away. The bills must be paid I guess.

You just hired a coach at a higher salary and will be adding COA so, yeah, that pay game likely is more than a must. TXST is in the same boat. Bobcat Club levels went up and they're experimenting with alcohol sales. Those same 2 factors are the main causes as to why, in my opinion.

I don't think over the recent past have had a specific number other than to say they want to increase season ticket sales. The shame is that usually there are no ticket drives or the associated advertising unless it's a couple of weeks before the opening date. I think last year we were at about 13,500 but I don't think I ever saw an actual number listed by the university.

We've had 2 midweek games the past two seasons. Good for exposure? Probably. Good for fans? Not as much.

And this is something that frustrates the hell out of a lot of fans. Hopefully it is something that Jim Harris will correct as part of his promise to bring us transparency.

Last year, we hit 10,100 for the first time. I'm sure that's the plan....to hit it again.

We ll be playing on new turf also. Getting rid of real grass for artificial stuff. We are playing our Spring game at a local high school because the turf installation may not be complete by mid April Spring game

That is impressive. Hope we can get there (or higher) in the next few years.

I thought I read on Twitter that the goal was 10,500 this year, which would put us in line for 11K next year when Miami comes to Jonesboro.

Very impressive. Hoping the Jags will reach the 8,500 goal. It's very doable to exceed it.
