I've taken the time to go through each team's out of conference play, personnel, and potential in conference play.
*I missed some key injuries for a couple of teams. Notably ODU and UTEP. Despite that, I hope you all enjoy.
*I'll add FAU and Rice in the AM.

Ambrose Moseley is no longer a member of the team. Same for Peyton Pervier who played very little while he was on the team.

Prediction: If Potts becomes eligible in January, The Raider’s could be a dark horse to compete for a regular season and a conference tournament title.

Very good write-up. One thing I'd change is that ODU fans call our venue "The Ted" and not "The Convocation Center".

I would go so far as to say that, for what D'antoni wants to run, way more pieces are in place this season than last season. If he and his staff can get a comparable result out of the last half of this season as what they did in the last 13 games of last season, we could hit 0.500 in CUSA play IMO. I mean, we went on a 1-15 stretch near the beginning of last season and then turned around a bit to win 7 of our last 13, which were all CUSA games.
I feel that we can finish CUSA play at the top of the middle, if you will, right around fifth or sixth.
Going forward, D'antoni has got to build some depth. I have no clue what he was thinking with the eastern European kids. They're barely walk-on player quality. We basically have 5 guys who deserve to be on the court at this level, and another 1 or 2 who can, at best, hold their own for the 5-7 minutes/game they play to give the starting 5 some rest. If we had another 2-3 guys like what we have starting, that could go a long way. We really, really need depth.

Kicking myself for not looking deeper in to that situation. I saw the DNP for multiple games and assumed injury. Thanks for the info.

I'm just glad Giddy Potts wasn't in that first half of the MTSU/UAB game. We never would have caught you guys in the second half.

Nice blog and well researched. Even though Tech will be favored from here on out, UAB is by far going to be our toughest opponent at home and the streak will be in jeopardy.

Matt Willms is out for the season with a broken foot. Broadricks Jones missed about 6 weeks because of a meniscus tear. UTEP is not very good and many in the fan base are not expecting more than .500 in conference at this point.

This appears to be the season that some things even out. UAB and MTSU have owned us on their home courts (and MTSU in the tourney), and have yet to visit Norfolk. Conversely, we get welcomed to Ruston this evening for the first time. Regardless of location, hoping these games are high-quality and represent the conference well.

Great win for our guys. Crowd was really into it, even tho it was a bit smaller (only 4,100 today). Our home court advantage was palpable today. My voice is nearly gone after screaming so much in that second half.
