He is a Mount Union graduate so makes a lot of sense since our former head coach and current head coach all played for Mount Union.

That was my exact thought when I read the headline too.
Since NIU returned to the MAC, the NIU/UT series is essentially two long winning streaks (first by UT and now by NIU) that I attribute to being the result of a curse---so the coaches don't matter
