The women played a superb, aggressive game against Drake, the #1 women's team in the MVC. The ladies won 87-73. What a joy it is to watch this team! Lisa Carlsen has them running and gunning and playing excellent basketball.

After seeing what Lisa Carlsen did at Lewis, I have supreme confidence in her. I thought she was a fabulous hire from day one. We have some excellent players on the women's team. I thought there would be a big drop off after Amanda Corral graduated. But this team has erased all doubts. The team may or may not turn out to be great, but they are sure fun to watch. They give it their all on the court.
