Great job by these young men, as well as the whole team ... Keep in mind, if not for the fact that we regularly used up to 10 receivers, 4 running backs, and 2 full platoons on defense; we might have had more receive individual honors ... But, that is the definition of a full TEAM effort .... One that I as a long time fan makes me the most proud of this group of young men, and this team and program ...

Jake Elliot deserves it!
Incredible FG and xp stats.
One stat they don't look at is touchbacks. I guess some teams use different kickers for kickoffs.
Elliot had 72 touchbacks this year. 6/game. 75% of his kicks were touchbacks. That is incredible!
Of course you've got to have a stout offense to get that many attempts.

He's got to have a stout leg, because in some games, such as SMU, it got a workout.
