The pressure is on... you're Top 3 job, and it looks like Fritz to TULANE?
This isn't the retread conference. Fritz is a sitting HC. Memphis just hired a hotshot PAC12 OC as did UCF!
The West is LOADED next year.
With the UCF/Frost and Memphis/Norvell news, THE BAR HAS BEEN RAISED.
KENDALL BRILES, DINO BABERS, or LINCOLN RILEY, would really be fantastic hires. Why isn't Compher looking at them?
So, what I am asking is will the fan base get excited about the potential names we've heard... Or will Bill Clark, Todd Monken, Jeff Brohm, or even Joe Moglia be brought in to interview?
A strong ECU is good for the AAC. I'm rooting for you guys.

For the record, I predicted Babers to UCF and I have Bill Clark going to Memphis.
I think Clark will do some good things for your program. He seems to care a lot about his kids.

Jeff Brohm, Lincoln Riley would make me happy.
Not too big on Bill Clark. Okay with monkey but prefer an offensive innovator.

Monken would not take the Memphis job. His people here say that when he leaves he will only go for a P5 job, and one he can compete for a national title at. Have followed Bill Clark for years. He has kicked ass where ever he has gone. He is a masterful recruiter.

If Memphis wanted Monken(not saying they do) believe me they could get him. USM fans need to stop being delusional and accept where they are in the pecking order.

Fwiw, we're meeting with Odom tonight. That is who most Memphis fans would be fine with. He was our DC last year when we were so good on D. We lost 8 starters this year, but never really got much better.
If we hire Odom, we can likely keep our current OC, and have Odom back for the defense. BTW, Missouri was something like #4 in overall D this year.
But Odom is still very high on Missouri's radar, too, and he is an alum there, so who knows?
