Game Day: UMass - emu steve - 11-13-2015 11:38 PM

Still have two games left.

This could be an interesting game as both teams should be evenly matched (pretty much).

Of course, if someone wants a REALLY interesting game, don't Toledo and BG play Tuesday? (Yes, is the answer).

Apparently all of our OLinemen are back this week and mostly healthy.

Great news.

We have a chance to play a good game on offense and that alone will make the game interesting.

Our swimmers will be in a dual meet with ohio st in jones pool at 1. I'll be there first then on to football.

I think there are still injury problems on the left side.

I think the depth charts produced on Monday (which is really backwards looking) and the actual depth chart as formulated on Thursday (?) can be very different.

It might well be that some players are healthy enough to go. I believe Hurcombe could have gone last Saturday if the game was close...

On boards such as this, it is always possible that someone has the latest and greatest info. A player might tell his dad who posts...

Not saying everybody 100%, most guys aren't at this late stage of the season. Wiley has had another week to rehab, and the 2 guys on the left side are a lot better than their backups, if only 80% healthy, based on last weeks performance.

Irritating to look at that 3-4 depth chart every week. Really, really, really hope we get healthy and go to a 4 man front next year.

I did hear Greg Steiner's pre-game w. CC.

CC didn't name names but indicates the OL will be in better shape and that practice went much better with the continuity of having starters back.

Hopefully we won't see the problems that we did last week on offense.

Might Dylan Mulder play on Sundays? Guy is money from 50+.

and all have been outside in the elements. Put him on a team that plays indoors 8 weeks could be even better.

BG, Ohio and Toledo are winning in hoops.

I know, but that is better than talking about football...

RE: Game Day: UMass - emu steve - 11-14-2015 04:12 PM

These telecasters need a good spotter or need to pull out the the 2-deeps.

I swear they are clueless to the EMU players' numbers.

They're so busy talking that they don't even see the easy stuff on the field.

That's all you can expect when you have two 1-8 teams playing each other. Not slamming either EMU or UMASS but Baylor and OK State they ain't.

RE: Game Day: UMass - Bob Wickersham - 11-14-2015 05:00 PM

Nice shot of the east stands containing, oh, I'd say 15 people.

RE: Game Day: UMass - TheWoodenNickle - 11-14-2015 05:10 PM

Refs are sh!tty too. Miss the easy calls then invent the non-existent penalties.

RE: Game Day: UMass - Bob Wickersham - 11-14-2015 05:28 PM

Third and 10 and EMU is nowhere near UMass's top receiver, Sharpe. What? This team SUCKS!

JK better use his degree for paychecks.

RE: Game Day: UMass - HuronRob - 11-14-2015 05:59 PM

EMU needs to revoke the scholarships for 95% of the players.
