BG wins the East early again. Congrats! WMU was game, but BG's defense made key plays and the running game just keeps getting stronger. Last year they went into a funk after clinching, but their archrival awaits...
And who will be the West Champ? Any predictions? NIU holds on in Buffalo to clear one hurdle. It's gonna be a madcap finish!

Scenario 1. NIU wins out. They go.
Scenario 2. WMU wins out. They go.
Scenario 3. Toledo wins out, and NIU loses to either WMU or OU. Toledo goes.
Scenario 4. WMU beats NIU, Toledo loses to BG, Toledo beats WMU, NIU beats OU. CMU wins out. Toledo goes in 4 way tie.
Scenario 5. WMU loses to NIU, and beats Toledo. Toledo loses to BG. NIU loses to OU. CMU wins out. WMU goes in 3 way tie with CMU, and NIU.
Scenario 6. Same scenario as 5, but CMU drops a game, so NIU goes in two way 6-2 tie with WMU.

I like scenario 4 best because BG would end the 5-game Rocket hex and quickly have a two-game streak of their own.

Is this not the best MAC pennant race in history? (we've only had divisions since what the late 90s?).
Rarely have we had dominant teams in both divisions.
Can anyone remember a mid-November game between two teams undefeated within conference?
NO MAC West team will back into the MACC game. That scenario does not exist.

BG managed to lose to NIU, UT, WMU, and Ball State last season. Lucky for the Falcons CMU wasn't on the schedule.
