Does it matter? We'll never have 50,000 for a game; but we're certainly not getting 15,000 either. Nippert is a gem; the envy of most any G5 and many P5 schools. Visiting fans and the ESPN announcers rave about the expanded facility; the crowds and the passion of our student section. Attendance this season passes the eyeball test, unlike attendance Pitt and Miami (FL) often claim while gazing upon thousands of empty seats everywhere.
Duke has won 5 national championships in basketball and plays in an arena that seats 9,314. Have you ever seen a telecast where the announcers didn't say there were 10,000 fans there?
Having witnessed the lean years in UC football attendance we need to be celebrating the largest single season attendance ever in school history. And it wasn't visiting fans from UK, Louisville or WVU flooding in to fill all those empty seats as in the past. UC hasn't played a local or ranked opponent at home all season. Rain or shine, this Homecoming will be special.

What I find hard to believe is they sold the Club Seats which are $400 each.
Now we Season Club Seat folks pay $417 each but a large portion in a tax deductible contribution.
If you pay $400 one game buy do they give you deduction?

By the way, looks like some of UCONN's allotment came back. There are ~68 tickets left in the upper corners for $33 if you know anyone who wants them.

Single game purchase of club seats do not include a donation.

That's not a shocker. Having lived in Connecticut for 2 years I was always shocked at how little anyone cared about UConn football. If they had 25% of the support for football that they get for men's, or women's, basketball they'd be LONG GONE from the AAC. Mind boggling bandwagon for hoops in that state.

I know! It's amazing that even the $400 club seats sold out for this! Must be the people trying to get out of the rain.

There are 55 tickets available in sections 117 and 118. This may be what remains of different athletic allotments to parents.
