Kudos to Higbee - BlueRaiderBoy - 10-20-2015 10:22 AM

CBS Mid Season All-American Team announced and Western's 6"6' Tight End is the only Non-Cartel 5 player listed on the team! He'll be playing on Sunday!

Definitely will. IMO has all the tools on the field. Good honor and I hope he's back soon.

RE: Kudos to Higbee - Jack Bauer - 10-20-2015 10:52 AM

Heard it could be worse then expected. (Season ending)

RE: Kudos to Higbee - Hop45 - 10-20-2015 11:45 AM

WKU just seems to reload at the TE position every year, and they just keep getting better than the last one! Pretty impressive.

Shouldn't be season ending. Just a sprain. He is doubtful this weekend but listed as week to week. I expect him back by FAU game

I heard from a veeeerrrrryyyyy reliable source, that it's worse then advertised.

Mine is pretty reliable as well. I'll check with a few more people and see what I find out to be sure. But multiple people told me he should be back before too long. MRI results came back negative for anything other then a sprain. But because of past injuries it could be worse.

Hope he makes it back to full health, the kid's a stud, just killed MU in the game against WKU last season. Was unstoppable. GL to him and Western.

Jack Doyle - Colts
Mitchell Henry - Packers
Tyler Higbee - NFL future depending on injury status (past knee problems)

RE: Kudos to Higbee - WKUFan518 - 10-21-2015 07:01 AM

Higbee is better than all of them, but injuries have really hurt him...Cannot be a great player if you are not on the field...I fear his injury is worse then what WKU is saying....

RE: Kudos to Higbee - HanselTop - 10-21-2015 07:38 AM

4 weeks, he'll be back for Marshall.

Hence why I said it could be for whole season. It isn't just a one week to thing.

Funny since WKU is the one that issued a statement saying he is doubtful for LSU game but then week to week after.....The guy could not walk Thursday night and is on crutches, so I was thinking this is not a normal sprain....Probably has to do with sprained MCL which is a 4 week injury for most players, go ask RG III about MCL sprains...

RE: Kudos to Higbee - WKUYG - 10-21-2015 09:47 AM

He could walk Thursday night with a limp ...he was told to stay off it till the MRI and like with all sprains is using crutches. Even very minor knee injury the player will use crutches. If you look at Western's schedule the next two (after LSU) games Higbee shouldn't be needed. I will be surprised if Higbee isn't back by the FIU game.

Seems funny that I saw him walking around on the sidelines with a wrap on his knee during the end of the game. 01-wingedeagle
