Weather is setting for a great game atmosphere! Two very strong teams! And WKU is looking to take some frustration Out over last years loss in the boro. This week might get a few people banned

As a dedicated MT fan, I'm usually pumped about hate week. This year, I'm so frustrated and fed up with our poor coaching staff that I don't even care that hate week is happening. We will get killed next weekend in BG. Every MT fan sitting near me agreed tonight. Stock needs to get a fire lit under his butt, Faulkner should have packed a box tonight and walked out for good, and our defensive staff needs to apparently be slapped across the head. Some MT fans thought this would really be a special season. It'll be special alright, in a bad way. We will go 4-8 and finish 3rd to last in the conference.

No sir. Not buying it. We beat Vandy in a low scoring game, you almost beat Vandy by a similar score. We narrowly lost to Indiana, you narrowly lost Illinios.
Very similar teams IMHO. This is going to be a war. Don't doubt it.

I hold no hope that it'll even be close in BG. Western will not hesitate to annihilate us. I fear this one will get ugly.

Sorry but Middle is not good. We have a great QB and 1 good receiver. Our center is terrible. The secondary is a joke. Offensive play calling is absolutely atrocious. And coaches just seem to have no heart. WKU will kill us and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a shut out. Not a bad fan, just sick of mediocrity. It gets old after 6 years.

I think the difference is confidence...while I think we may be close to as good as WKU, you guys have played better in crunch time.
The last 2 weeks we have let games get away...I have no idea what to expect, but look forward to the game.

I don't get into all the hate and trash talk. I do look forward to an exciting game against a great rival and conference mate. MTSU and WKU are great conference partners. Glad we are back together.

I'm afraid it will be well below average with the number of MT fans making the trip. There is a lot of frustration and apathy right now. I will say that we'll take as many fans as Vandy brought to Murfreesboro last night. That turnout was laughable, especially for an SEC team just a half hour down the road.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I totally agree with the WKU fans on this one and disagree with my own fan base. The game will be close. We have faced 3 very good run stop based defenses. CUSA doesn't have what the p5 teams have. We are 6 points from being 4-1 so like one WKU fan eloquently said, we are much more evenly matched than our own folks realize.
While I think WKU will win, we will compete and keep it close. Doughty is insanely good and WKU has weapons everywhere. It will be close like it always has been. We have the pieces in place to win. Now, it's a question of Mental Toughness for us. Can we battle through it? Sure. Will we? Who knows.

I will be in Bowling Green, was there in 1991, when another Raider freshman QB (Kelly Holcomb, who played 13 years in the NFL) led MT to a win which was the first of the current streak of Raider victories in Bowling Green.
Go Blue Raiders.

LOL I have no idea what to expect in this game. I hope we win but after the last two games I am just not that excited. Who knows what will happen. We might play it close but we might as well be crushed. When is basketball starting.

I think it will be a classic MT game. Close throughout, or WKU barely ahead - MT comes back late but then in the last 8 minutes, we completely fall apart and run around like chickens with our heads cut off.

VERY important East Game for both teams. Best of luck to both teams. Great C-USA showcase of two of our best. I think it's going to be hard for the Blue Raiders to take this one in WKU's place, but do expect it to be a slugfest. I'd say 34-24.
