It was kind of cool coaching his first game against Memphis since his father went to Memphis State, his mother is from Memphis, and that's where they met and got married.

We have lots of alumni. Too bad we did not build and grow football in the 80's and 90's. We also had the tragic loss of Rex Dockery. Coach Dockery would be proud of where we are now!

If the university had chosen to build upon the success of the 60's and 70's I bet we'd be in a totally different conference situation now.

Hard to believe you have to go back 41 years to find the last Memphis head football coach with a career winning record.

Not really if you have been watching the team play for the last 41 years.
