Early Top 25:

Bracketology:

Both are currently, and sadly, NTR.
What is our shot this year for crashing the bracket? Looks steep losing AN.

Screw it, BRING ON FOOTBALL!

Stranger things happen every year.

I see this team being 2-3 wins better than last year. NIT team at best, IMO. Hope they shock me...

if this happens, he's gone. No need to beat a dead horse.

I think with Austin we could feel better about that, but ...it is what it is.

Don't mind me. Just regurgitating silly stuff from another recent thread haha

Why?

We'll just hear the "we lost Austin in July. Pastner was left in a lurch. Just wait til next year when the Lawson's and Marshall have more experience..."

Rinse, repeat.

Wolken says we can't afford a buyout?

We lost Austin, whom I don't think will be a huge loss. Everyone of the guards should be better. We should be competitive in the league and have a shot for an at large.

So, losing our best player was not a huge loss? Then losing which other player, may I ask, would have constituted a "huge" loss, in your opinion?

I'll tell you a barometer of how good we are. If Avery Woodson starts or gets starter's minutes then we are an NIT team at best.

Woodson has to be 2nd or 3rd off the bench. He's a part time zone buster at best

Really depends how we perform non conference. I could see Ohio St Ole miss Oklahoma La Tech and South Carolina all as losses if that's the case we are pretty much done at that point. I hope I am wrong

I don't know how anyone could realistically think that.

Unless nobody want to pony up the buyout.......

Could happen and would make a few people around here ecstatic.

Wouldn't shock me at all with the new direction Bowen wants to go if Pastner stays on board for at least 2 more years. We are a football school.

I think he's done if we don't make the tournament
