B = bad man I suppose.

Austin Nichols can/should get his release post haste. I am fine with trying to convince him to stay, but if you can't he gets to leave. I wish him absolutely well.

Word on the street is that it isn't Pastner denying the transfer. But that is the way we'll spin it either way.

When he's become this much of a side show its time to cut and run.

Screw that, deny the release. Austin waits until July to break this out basically totally screwing the team? Let daddy get his lawyers and go through the process of fighting it.

You screw us, then we screw you daddy Nichols.

he'll get his release, it will just have restrictions.

Apparently no release yet because Nichols hasn't met with Pastner about leaving.

It's coaches job to get the players to buy in. 18-22 yo olds can be flaky, but keeping them in the fold is the responsibility of the HC.

Pastner and the coaching staff should get a shot to discuss with him and try to convince him. If they can't, the release should be given. No AAC at all, or SEC in the area (Ole Miss / Miss St / Arkansas)

I kinda take exception to Nichols dad in this area. As a father I would think he would want to teach his kid to have the decency to meet with your superior face to face, regardless of what you think of him, and talk to him like a man.

John Calipari meet Austin Nichols.

You'd hope Austin would have taken the initiative himself, but absolutely his dad should've made him go to Pastner in person if Austin was going on his own accord.
