At our local high school, the kids were issued prayer rugs.

When someone has something to post, they'll start a thread.

But go on wasting server space.

We're having a National Day of Prayer observance in my community on May 7th. There is also a gathering where the entire Bible will be read by assigning the attendees a section.

Is that an example of the creeping Sharia Law? Or is it what Huckabee is claiming, that Christianity will soon be a crime. Oh wait...I know...it's Michele Bachmann's prediction of Obama bringing on the apocalypse! I KNEW IT!

RWT,

Perhaps you should attend on 5/7/15. You may learn something!

It would beat the thousand threads ERC would start on the subject.

Thanks for your concern...but I'll be working that day.

Perhaps I'll learn more in my Sunday school class each week? Right now we're learning about the Holy city of Jerusalem. It's a book/video series and it's very informative.

And we just finished an awesome sermon series. Our church is very strong about prayer. We hold monthly prayer services and we always pray before and after our church meetings, like the one for the nominations committee that I'm on...we had a great meeting last night.

But what I'm most looking forward to is our Spring Cantata on the 17th. It's a great price called "Great I Am". I have a solo as well!

Finally, my wife just got back from a mission trip to Burundi and my daughter is gearing up for a couple this summer. She has one in inner-city Detroit in June where we're working with young kids and getting them interested in Jesus and the church, which is a new church plant. I'm going to be a chaperone on that one and it should be awesome. She is then going to Honduras in August to do a VBS for the kids and issue water filters and mosquito nets. We're having some trouble raising all the money she needs, but I have faith that God will provide! Anyway, if you want to donate, just PM me. Otherwise, I would appreciate your prayers.

Have a nice day!!

04-cheers

Just a reminder, the right hand is not to know what the left hand is doing.

What is the denomination?
