I would be more surprised if we were ranked in any of the polls this week, as opposed to not being ranked in all of the polls.

Dropped out all of the ranking and comeback at end of the season, which will bring us another experience.

Somehow we are still #16 in the writers' poll.

At 23-15.

"Somehow we are still #16 in the writers' poll."

It is easy to spell "Rice".

D1Baseball has Rice projected as the #2 seed in the Fort Worth Regional, with TCU as the number 7 national seed. This regional is paired with the Dallas Regional (Dallas Baptist).

Right now, I think most of us would take this and be happy. Let's all hope our play between now and then creates some more attractive options.

I'd rather go to College Station than TCU.

A&M is beatable. TCU less so

Texas A&M is 33-3. They have been "beatable" by @Alabama (6-2), Missouri (3-2) and Mississippi State (3-2). That's it. They might set a new NCAA record for best regular season win percentage. The Aggies also have a 4-3 win against Rice.

Strongly disagree. TCU may have the more elite pitching staff, but the Aggies' starting pitching is not chopped liver, and they have arguably the deepest bullpen in college baseball; allowing Childress to go righty-lefty almost endlessly, and while marching out quality pitcher after quality pitcher. The Aggies are also a MUCH better, more powerful and speedier offense club than TCU.
